Friends Activities This Month-
Cake Sale
There will be a cake sale at 2.30pm on Tuesday 22nd May. Donations of cakes and biscuits would be appreciated.
Toy Sale
This is a nice opportunity for your child to buy a toy for 20p and to donate any unwanted toys. The sale will take place during the first week in May in the Nursery foyer.
Arts and Crafts Fair
This will take place on Saturday 7th July from 10am-4.30pm. The event will take place on the Nursery field. There will be stalls for adults, refreshments and various art and craft activities for the children to enjoy. Please bring your families and a picnic and enjoy our lovely grounds. If you are interested in having a stall for the day or are available to help support the event, please speak to Joss or Janet. We hope to make this an annual community event. Money raised will go to art and craft resources for the children.
Allotment
An allotment plot has become available. The plots are offered free of charge for those who have the time to look after them. Please speak to Joss for more details if you are interested in growing your own produce.
Toddler Group
We are running a Toddler group every Tuesday from 9.30-11.30am (term time only). Come and use our Light Room, Ball Pool and garden. Meet new friends and take part in Ecat, Boogie Mites, Sing and Sign and Maths activities. Children age 0-4 years welcome with parents/ carers.
Questionnaire
The Nursery questionnaires are currently being distributed. These give us valuable feedback each year to help guide our service. We would be grateful if everyone who uses the nursery can take the time to complete the questionnaire and post it into the red box in reception. Thank you.
