Our team

Staff at West Wight Nursery provide education and care within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Play underpins learning and development and staff provide a balance of child initiated and adult led play based activities to meet each child's developmental needs. "Children thrive in the nursery and are enabled to achieve at the very highest levels. Children flourish in all areas of their development and develop the skills they need for life long learning." - Ofsted 2022.

We are very proud of our team who are highly trained and uphold the National Standards set by Ofsted at all times. All our room staff are well motivated and are developing new skills at all times. These include training in Asperger Syndrome, Early Language Development, Mental Health, Disability awareness, and much, much more.

All staff are pediatric First Aid Trained and have a minimum Level 2 Safeguarding as well as prevent duty and FGM training.
